Description
Affix card readers, intercoms, keypads, entry exit buttons, biometric readers, telephone entry systems, cameras, housings, and other access control devices from any manufacturer to this heavy duty, pad-mounted gooseneck pedestal. Its 84 mount height is ideal for automated gate entry and exit, parking lots, and perimeter access applications used by drivers and pedestrians.
Product Overview
This pedestal includes a face plate with universal hole patterns, a heavy-duty base plate, and a sliding cover plate to hide mounting bolts that secure the base. Position it on or off a concrete curb or island. Compared to cement-mounted pedestals, the pad-mount base simplifies the replacement of damaged units.
The unit is powder coated with a UV protectant to promote longevity in all weather conditions and engineered to survive sustained Category 5 hurricane force winds. It features an architectural neck style and a .120”-thick steel wall tube that uses 62% more steel than competitors’ models.
Two different styles of mounting bolt kits are available (sold separately) to mount the pedestal to the ground.
Each pedestal ships foam-wrapped and boxed individually for safe transport and includes carriage bolt hardware. Customized colors, heights, reaches, face plates, and base plates are available. Additional costs and lead times may apply.
